Hello brides! A couple of weeks ago we covered the topic Trumpet vs Mermaid dresses… So today we are covering A-line VS Ballgown! Our stylists get asked a lot about the differences of an aline and ballgown and which one will work best with their body type, so here we go!

What is a ballgown silhouette? The ballgown silhouette has a fitted bodice that can stop at the natural waist or a little lower to create a drop waist effect that leads to a very full skirt. The ballgown is great for the bride who wants to feel like a princess on her wedding day!

What is an A-line silhouette? An A-line gown gradually flows from waistline to the floor (creating an A-shape). The A-line gown is a great shape for the bride who wants a little volume on the bottom but doesn’t want to commit to the ballgown shape. The A-line gowns are comfortable and classic!
