Wedding Tips

“Timeless.”

When we meet our beautiful brides, we hear “timeless” said time and time again when describing what they hope they will feel like in their dress on their special day. Unfortunately, time and time again we also see our brides shy away from absolutely fabulous risks in the name of timelessness. They do not want to look back and feel as though their wedding pictures are dated because of a style decision.  We are here to tell you not to be afraid of being the most beautiful bride you can be. Time will come and go but nothing will change how breathtaking you will be on the day of your wedding.

Here are a few of our favorite unique bridal fashions we hope you’ll  try when you are looking for the one.

Whether it’s two tone, or just one solid color, we love dresses with color. Color not only makes details in your dress stand out, but it can also highlight gorgeous undertones in your skin, which will make you look even more glowing on your big day!

 Capes

WE. LOVE. CAPES. Really? Is there anything better than a bride that walks down the aisle and looks just as beautiful as she does fierce? Though wearing a cape may mean you may not want to wear a veil, a cape will give you all of the bridal drama that a veil would, if not more. And (as if we needed to tell you even more reasons why capes are so amazing) they are unforgettable. There is no doubt that none of your guests will be able to forget you as a bride long after they send you off at the end of the night.

Dramatic headpieces

Crown, jeweled juliet cap, statement comb, hair wreath, veil: any one of these can really take your bridal style to the next level with a little bit of drama, swarovski crystal, or mother of pearl. Some of these pieces can even be passed down to the next generation if they are heirloom quality, like Maria Elena accessories, what could be more timeless than that?

At the end of the day, you should love every part of your wedding day. When you look back at your pictures all that will fill your mind are the memories. All of the feelings of that day will rush back to you, the anticipation, the excitement, and the happiness. Seeing pictures of your gown will remind you how amazing you felt in it on the day and that is why it is so important to wear what stirs your soul. Embrace your moment and be the bride you dream of being.
