This Privacy Policy explains how Mon Amie, Inc., which operates Mon Amie Bridal Salon and the monamie.com website (“Mon Amie”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and shares personal information, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to information you give us when you contact us or book an appointment.

Information you give us

Appointment requests: your name, email, phone number, wedding date, preferred appointment time, price range, how you heard about us and your other answers on the form; if you choose, your Instagram or Pinterest name; and, if you are logged in, a link to your wishlist.
Messages: your name, email, phone number and message when you use our contact form, email us or call us.
Job applications: your name, email, phone number, the position you are interested in, your message and your resume.
Accounts and wishlists: your username, email address, password (stored encrypted) and the gowns you save.
Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, we and our service providers collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that sent you here and the time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies for this, including:

Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics, to understand how the website is used;
Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure our advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited our website;
Google reCAPTCHA on account forms, to block spam;
security tools that log visits to protect the website from attacks.

Pages that include a Google map or a video may also let those providers set cookies.

How we use information

to schedule and prepare for your appointment and to contact you about it;
to answer your questions and provide our services, including gown orders and alterations;
to keep your account and wishlist, and to send your wishlist to your stylist when you book while logged in;

to understand and improve the website and measure our advertising;

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only:

with service providers who help us run the website and our business, such as our web host, our email and newsletter providers (including Mailchimp), and our analytics and security tools, who may use it only to provide their services to us;
with advertising partners such as Google and Meta, through the cookies and pixels described above, to measure and show our ads;
when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public;
with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

Your choices

Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on and manage ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
Your account: you can update your information, or ask us to delete your account and wishlist, by emailing info@monamie.com.

California privacy rights

If you live in California, you may have the right to ask what personal information we have collected about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. To make a request, email info@monamie.com or call 714-546-5700. We will verify your identity before we act on a request, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. California’s “Shine the Light” law also lets California residents ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing; we do not.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example while your account is open, for the records of your purchase and alterations, or as the law requires. We then delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, but no website or email transmission is completely secure.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as designers and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
